Information appears only when it is needed.
- A parent adds a document to Family Vault.It is categorized, permissioned, and assigned a retention or expiration rule.
- An eligible caregiver accepts a specific assignment.The system shares only the care instructions and documents needed for that assignment.
- Access begins shortly before care.Short-lived access replaces permanent file sharing.
- Care and handoff are documented.The parent sees pickup, trip, care, and handoff milestones in one timeline.
- Assignment access expires automatically.The audit record remains visible, and the parent can revoke earlier when appropriate.

When your child needs to move between school, home, or a partner program, Opportino keeps everything together in a single workflow: your pickup authorization, the school’s release rules, the destination, child-restraint requirements, live trip status, care notes, and a documented handoff at the end.
Who does the driving depends on the request, and we’ll always tell you exactly who before you confirm.
During the pilot, transportation is offered only where we can meet our own safety standards: a named, identified adult your school has verified, an age-appropriate car seat, insurance confirmed for that specific trip, and live location sharing to your phone. If we cannot yet meet that standard, we will say so plainly and coordinate care around a parent or another parent-approved adult instead.
As Opportino grows, transportation may be coordinated through trained Opportino caregivers, vetted transportation partners who specialize in transporting children, or other approved models. The rule never changes: you see the specific person, transportation plan, and child-restraint arrangement before any trip is confirmed, and no child travels with anyone you have not approved.

Can a caregiver see every document in Family Vault?
No. The product is designed for assignment-specific, time-limited access to the minimum information needed. Sensitive legal or administrative records can remain restricted to the parent and authorized operations staff.
Can I see who viewed a document?
The production design includes an access history showing important views, changes, shares, expirations, and revocations.
Can I remove access immediately?
Yes. Parents and authorized operations staff should be able to revoke active access, remove a caregiver from an assignment, and end sessions when appropriate.
Is the prototype ready for real confidential documents?
No. The current prototype demonstrates the experience with fictional data. Real sensitive uploads require production-grade authentication, private storage, permissions, audit logs, retention controls, monitoring, and legal review.
