Website purpose

This website is intended to gather interest in a potential backup childcare pilot. Submitting a form does not create a childcare agreement, guarantee service availability, or authorize pickup or transportation.

No emergency service

Opportino is not an emergency medical, law-enforcement, or crisis-response service. In an emergency, call 911 or the appropriate emergency provider.

Pilot availability

Any pilot services, caregiver matching, pickup, transportation, or partner workflows are subject to availability, parent authorization, provider procedures, insurance, licensing, and legal review.

Pricing and content

The current Founding Family membership offer is $99 per month, with the $99 rate planned to be protected for 12 months. The planned standard rate is $149 per month. There is no minimum membership commitment; a family may cancel before the next billing period. The first hour of a Founding Family’s first care session is free. Any additional time in that session—and all later care—is separately quoted and charged after family approval. Membership also supports family onboarding, child profiles, calendar-gap alerts, matching, recurring-care setup, parent-controlled authorization, school-release documentation, and access to the Opportino care network.

Care is priced for the actual request rather than through one universal hourly rate. Before a family confirms care, Opportino will present one complete quote based on factors such as caregiver compensation, travel and arrival time, child age and care needs, number of children, notice, duration, frequency, and transportation. Required charges will be included in the price shown before confirmation.

One-time, recurring, and multi-day care use different quote structures. Same-day requests require at least 30 minutes’ lead time. Recurring plans receive fixed weekly or monthly package quotes for the stated schedule, while multi-day and closure-week plans receive written package quotes in the app.

Network Day seats are also site-specific. A pre-enrolled family will see the date, receiving site, age fit, hours, transportation status, and complete price before requesting a seat. A request is not final until the receiving site confirms the child under its own admissions, staffing, ratio, capacity, age, health, and operating requirements.

Pilot pricing, coverage areas, age lanes, partner relationships, and service features may change before acceptance or with advance notice as the pilot develops. A quote is not a booking, and care, transportation, school release, and partner-site admission remain separately subject to the applicable confirmations and safety requirements.

$25 pilot reservation deposit

Where offered to an accepted family, the one-time $25 Founding Family Pilot deposit confirms the accepted pilot place for the stated invitation window. It is a refundable reservation payment, not a confirmed childcare booking. Applying alone does not require payment. If a family enrolls, it is credited toward the first $99 membership month. The free first hour of the family’s first care session is a separate membership benefit and is not purchased by the deposit. Any care beyond that first hour is separately quoted and charged. The deposit is governed by the Refund Policy.
