Pilot-stage draft

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026. This policy describes the information collected through the Opportino pilot website, forms, and pilot reservation payment flow.

Information we collect

When you join an Opportino interest list or pilot form, we may collect your name, contact details, city or neighborhood, child age ranges, language preferences, one-time or recurring childcare needs, schedule and availability preferences, safety priorities, school or daycare information, transportation needs, and comments you choose to share.

How we use information

We use this information to understand family and provider demand, plan age-appropriate caregiver coverage, contact interested participants, prepare pilot workflows, design matching and recurring-care features, improve safety and release processes, and communicate about Opportino.

Children’s information

Please do not submit a child’s full name, medical record, exact school schedule, home address, medication instructions, or other sensitive identifying details through the public interest forms. Detailed child profiles, allergies, medications, pickup permissions, emergency contacts, and calendar files should be collected only through a secure onboarding process after appropriate consent and review.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may use service providers such as website hosting, forms, email, analytics, customer-management tools, and payment processing to operate the pilot.

Payments

If you pay a pilot reservation deposit, an approved third-party payment provider processes the payment. Opportino receives transaction details such as the payer name, email address, payment status, amount, date, and a limited payment-method description. Opportino does not receive or store your full card number. The payment provider’s own privacy terms apply to the information it processes.

Interactive product preview

The public product preview uses local demo data stored in your browser. It does not book real childcare, verify caregivers, process payments, upload a calendar to a production server, or create a live school, transportation, or caregiver relationship. Resetting the demo clears its locally stored state.

Cookies and similar browser technologies

Opportino uses essential cookies and similar browser technologies, including local browser storage, to operate the website, remember privacy choices, preserve an in-progress public form draft, and support demo-only features you request. The public product preview stores fictional demo information locally in your browser; it does not create a real childcare booking or live child profile.

With your permission, Opportino may use optional analytics technologies to understand aggregate website use and improve the pilot. Optional analytics remain off unless you select “Allow analytics.” You may change or withdraw your choice at any time by selecting “Cookie choices” in the footer.

Opportino does not use cookies for targeted advertising as of the “Last updated” date. When you open a third-party service, such as Stripe’s hosted payment page or the secure portal, that provider may use its own cookies and similar technologies under its own privacy policy.
