Parent names the caregiver in writing.
The request links the child, pickup window, and specifically assigned caregiver to the parent’s authorization.
The 5:58 phone call. A teacher staying late off the clock. Ratios and licensing on the line. Opportino gives participating families a TrustLine-registered, background-checked, DOJ/FBI fingerprint-verified, parent-authorized backup caregiver who follows your release procedure exactly—authorization on file, ID at the door, and a timestamped sign-out.
Designed to fit the process you already use. Your program sets every rule and retains final authority over release.

Parents already name authorized adults. Staff already verify identity. Opportino gives those familiar steps a clear, limited, timestamped handoff—without asking the school to book care or give up control.
The request links the child, pickup window, and specifically assigned caregiver to the parent’s authorization.
The provider sees only the information needed to check the named caregiver—not the family’s full care profile.
Opportino supports the provider’s existing policy; it does not override staff judgment, licensing rules, or release procedures.
Identity confirmation, release, and any issue are documented for the parent, provider, caregiver, and operations team.
One program’s staff-development day can be another program’s ordinary operating day. A receiving site can publish center-confirmed open seats by age group and hours, including morning openings created by lower attendance. Opportino routes only pre-enrolled families whose records and age fit the site.
A child absence may open a seat; a staff absence may reduce it. The site publishes the actual number it can accept after checking staffing, ratios, age/classroom fit, licensed capacity, records, and its own admission policy.
Choose a practical starting point: late-pickup support, early-release coverage, authorized pickup, or a receiving-site role that turns confirmed open capacity into paid drop-in seats for pre-enrolled families.
Provider shares Opportino with parents who need backup care. Parents enroll directly.
Provider follows its existing release procedure for adults that parents authorize in advance.
Families receive in-home or partner-site options for known closure days, minimum days, and school breaks.
Publish confirmed open seats by date, age group, and hours. Opportino routes pre-enrolled families and pays the agreed per-child day rate.
Reduce stress when parents are running late and staff cannot extend coverage.
Qualified caregivers can apply to join Opportino to support nearby families with recurring and last-minute care needs.
Share standing pickup rules for participating families, see the caregiver assigned for each date, and receive a day-specific update when an approved backup covers the session.
Pickup support begins only after required documentation, insurance, parent authorization, and provider procedures are in place. Transportation requires a separate review.
For a partner pilot, Opportino can provide sample parent authorization forms, caregiver ID procedures, timestamped pickup logs, parent notifications, and incident workflows for attorney/insurance review.
Yes. A director can publish or revise the net number of seats after actual attendance and staffing are known. A child absence may open a seat; a staff absence may reduce or eliminate seats. Opportino displays only director-confirmed inventory, and each request remains pending until the receiving site confirms the child under its own records, age, health, staffing, ratio, capacity, and admissions requirements.
When a family’s usual program is closed, Opportino can show confirmed seats at open licensed partner sites for families that completed that site’s admission paperwork in advance. The receiving site uses its own staff, license, rules, and admissions process. The site-specific all-in quote appears before the family requests the seat, and the site retains final admission authority.
Yes. Programs can participate as referral or authorized-release partners, receiving sites that publish paid open seats for pre-enrolled families, or both. Referral partners give families a parent-paid backup option that follows the program’s existing release procedure. Receiving sites fill director-confirmed open capacity with pre-enrolled children, using their own staff, license, rules, and final admission authority.
The school and daycare pilot page explains the operating protocol, while the school product preview shows morning seat updates, calendar publishing, recurring pickup assignments, transportation status, identity verification, and timestamped release documentation.
A director can say yes to either role independently. Opportino is designed to fit your current process rather than ask your program to take on a new operating model all at once.
Leave the best way to reach you. Opportino can follow up by email, text, or phone about the pilot, caregiver network, school partnerships, or future openings.
